The Flower Power 5K is an annual fundraiser presented by the Institute for Women’s Health. Previously known as the Los Luchadores 5k, the race was rebranded in 2016. Get in the groove at the Flower Power 5K!

Q: Can I register on race day?

A: Yes, but we can’t guarantee the t-shirt size you select.

Q: What is the address of Mission Pavilions?

A: 6030 Padre Dr, San Antonio, TX 78214. Google Maps will find this as Mission County Park.

Q: What are the times we need to know for Race Day?

A: Registration opens at 8 a.m., the Kids’ 1K begins around 9:15 a.m. and the 5K run/walk begins around 9:30 a.m. The post-race party begins around 9:45 a.m. with live music, food and beer/beverages for all attendees, giveaways from our sponsor, and fun for the family!

Q: Will awards be given out?

A: All participants receive a finisher medal. First, Second and Third Place prizes will be awarded to the top male and female finishers in multiple age categories. The top male and female finisher will each receive $250. And be sure to dress your “Flower Power” best, because you never know when a “Best Dressed” prize will be awarded!

Q: Are dogs and/or strollers allowed?

A: We will be traveling along the Mission Reach path, so please abide by the river rules: Dogs should be leashed, strollers are allowed.

Q: Is parking free?

A: Parking is free and there is ample parking at Mission Pavilions – volunteers will be out to direct participants.

Q: Do you have a course map?

A: We do! race-route-final
